We are pleased to invite you our wedding on 21st of July 2018 in Porto.

The plan is a surprise: as we want to keep the location and break down of the event secret we are not aiming to give you too much information about the 21st of July. You will just have to make sure you are at the pick up point at the time we will share with you soon (in the afternoon).

2 rules only:  COME as you are and NO gifts as your presence is our best Gift for this important day in our life.

The 21st of July

Visit of the Port Wine cellars Ramos Pinto in Gaia
11 am – for those who are attending the visit
Arrive 10 to 15 mn before.
You can’t miss it, it is a big Yellow House :

Train from Porto – Sao Bento > Granja : departure 16h05 – arrives at 16h30

Other solution: Uber or taxi (fares change when crossing the bridge from Porto to Gaia)
You have kids and you worry about how you’re going to manage the trip and party…
Come light, we will help you to arrange necessary materials if needed. As well, we will have baby-sitters during the party, so relax and enjoy.

Accommodation

We advice to choose an accommodation in Gaia as it very convenient and slightly cheaper than Porto City.

Hotels

Hotels during summer in Porto and Gaia cost between 60 £ to 250 £ / night. They usually are very good value. We advice you to stay close to the center (giving you access to mostly everything), whether in Porto or Gaia. Riverside will be obviously the most costly options.

Flats and houses to rent

The best is still to use airBnb. Lots of options between 40 – 50 £ / night in central Porto, Gaia and even by the beach.

Transportation

Unless you’re brave enough to drive for a very long time, and even knowing the trip is awesome, it will not cost cheap.

We obviously recommend to come by air:

  • From Marseille: Ryan Air offers direct return flights for 103 £ to 156 £, TAP and Iberia airlines offers a one stop return flight  for around 170 £.
  • From Clermont Ferrant: Air France and KLM offers a one or 2 stops return flight. Eventually you can have direct flights if flying on Wednesday. Price is around 260 £.
  • From Paris: Ryan Air, EasyJet and Vueling offer direct return flights for 101 £ to 140 £
  • From Dusseldorf: Iberia and TAP offer 1 stop return flights (direct flights on Thursday) for 190 £.
  • From Hong Hong: There is no direct flights. Turkish Airline and KLM offer 1 stop return flights.

Important: The closest we are from Summer, the more expensive flights will be. We recommend you to plan your tickets in advance.
